When one or more lashes are applied to a single natural lash using very fine lashes. If two eyelash extensions are applied to one natural lash, it is called 2D, if three eyelash extensions are applied to one natural lash, it is called 3D, etc. This method is also known as Russian volume. The eyelash extensions used in this method are significantly finer than those used in the classic method, usually measuring 0.07 in diameter. Volume lashes are lighter, fluffier, and give the client a fuller look. Volume lashes are ideal for clients who do not have many lashes, have sparse lashes, bald spots, or simply want a more dramatic look without having to use a thicker lash.
